The Tri-County Red Cross is seeking volunteers to help with intake and education at blood drives throughout Union, Middlesex and Somerset Counties. You do not need any medical training, and you will not be involved in actually drawing, storing or coming in contact with the blood.Volunteers simply greet donors, take their basic information and pass them on to the blood services staff. After a donor completes their donation, volunteers ensure donors drink fluids and eat a snack and are given information about how to be healthy after giving blood.
